Register! 6/11 SCBNA Student Affairs Webinar: Integrating Multi-Source and Variable Scale Remote Sensing Data for Conservation
Join the SCBNA Student Affairs Committee next Wednesday, 6/11, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM CDT to learn how to integrate multi-source and variable-scale remote sensing data into conservation!
Dr. Narcisa Pricope, Professor of Geography and Geospatial Science and Associate Vice President for Research at Mississippi State University, will explore how satellite and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS)-based remote sensing technologies can be leveraged to assess and monitor ecological changes, inform conservation planning, and support decision-making.
This session is designed for graduate students and early-career researchers and will provide practical insights into acquiring, processing, and interpreting remote sensing data for conservation-focused research.
