NACCB 2020 is Going Virtual – Registration is now Open!

After carefully monitoring the situation around COVID-19 over the last three months, NACCB 2020 organizers and the Society for Conservation Biology North America have made the decision to move NACCB 2020 to a fully online format. While we are disappointed not to see and meet everyone in Denver, we are excited for the opportunity to host an engaging and interactive virtual NACCB.

Virtual NACCB 2020 will take place over five days, July 27-31, with an exciting array of sessions and opportunities for interaction and networking among the North American conservation community (see conference schedule-at-a-glance). Our hope is that a virtual congress will further emphasize the NACCB 2020 conference theme Crossing Boundaries: Innovative Approaches to Conservation, by facilitating greater participation and connection across geographical and other boundaries via an online setting. Now more than ever, it is important to provide opportunities for the conservation community to discuss, connect and engage.

Registration for the 5th biennial (and first virtual!) NACCB is now open (see details below), and we look forward to reconnecting with colleagues and friends, and meeting new attendees and members of the Society. See below for other conference updates, highlights, and important deadlines. Presenters and session organizers will hear from NACCB organizers shortly about next steps in the transition to a virtual event. We hope you will join us online next month.
