Our speaker – SCBNA’s newly-appointed Student Affairs Representative, Jumanah Khan – will tell us what nature-based solutions mean and how they are transforming conservation practice in southwestern Ontario, Canada. This session will define key concepts and highlight real examples—showcasing how wetlands, forests, and prairies are restored to benefit both nature and communities in the region.
