It is the 4th largest city in North America, the 2nd largest financial centre in North America, and the 4th best city in the world to experience diverse cultures. Toronto is consistently ranked as one of the world&#8217;s most livable cities. Diversity fuels Toronto&#8217;s civic dynamism-successive waves of immigration have made the city a microcosm of the world. The most obvious testament to the vitality of immigrant culture is Toronto&#8217;s burgeoning food scene, which includes cuisines from the world over. The Park includes natural ecosystems (Carolinian ecosystems, marshes, beaches), agricultural systems (working farms), and a diversity of cultural features (oldest known indigenous sites in Ontario).
